At specific times during summer
Dusk and first blush
Are inseparable,
Asphalt canals carrying an even current
Welcome bare feet to gracefully
And side step ditches,
Over train tracks
Stubbing toes on metal rails
The north star south
To an iridescent suspension
Where water shows
The true nature of these reflections
Moving empyrial
As we do now
Betwixt blades of grass
And the ephemeral absence
Of temporal tides,
To substrate
Flesh whispers like
A Lake Michigan breeze
Slithering through
Tea cans hiding
Among dandelion galaxies

I'm a genderless poet currently living in Central Michigan where I attend college for Environmental Science and English. Nature's some cool shit, frisbee's a neat activity, fountain pens are best pens, Latakia for life, coffee and tea keep these gears turning.
